Jeff Garrison-Tate, Program Manager/Mentor Trainer, Texas Center on Disability Studies, The University of Texas
Mr. Garrison-Tate has supported people with disabilities and their families for 40 years. He has held positions as a Special Education Teacher, a Community Services Program Director, a Community Advocacy Organizer, a Policy Manager, and an Executive Director for an Early Childhood Intervention program. He is one of the Founders of Community Now!, a statewide non-profit organization that advocates for community inclusion. Mr. Garrison-Tate is a Founding Partner of the Institute on Person Centered Practices and a Certified Mentor Trainer with The Learning Community on Person Centered Practices. He currently works at the Center for Disability Studies at the University of Texas at Austin as a Program Manager.
