Gaylon Westbrook, President, Curriculum Transition Consultants 

Gaylon Westbrook holds a BS in Statistical Research Marketing, a Secondary in Curriculum development, and more than 30 years working with special education programs using instructional and assessment tools.  He is also an internet service provider, a networking and computer hardware provider, and a Microsoft Certified Professional. Mr. Westbrook is Founder of Programs for Learning and Computer Training Center as well as Co-founder of Curriculum Transition Consultant.


This presentation will open a discussion on the need for Secondary Transition Curriculum for students who need guided instruction and direct assistance, including hand over hand assistance.  This applies to students with disabilities that require unique strategies to enable them to achieve the maximum possible independence in working, living, and participating in the community as adults.  The discussion will include the Mastery Assessment Model and how it works.
