Melissa Reynolds, Lead Teacher L.I.N.K. Transition Program
Tracy Johnston is a Special Education Coordinator over Transition and College and Career Readiness for Tyler Independent School District. She has worked in Special Education for 18 years. For 13 years, she served as an Educational Diagnostician at the secondary level and was then the district’s Transition Facilitator for 4 years. Tracy currently leads a district transition team of dedicated individuals who focus on creating opportunities to improve student outcomes
Katie has been the Tyler ISD Instructor for Project SEARCH at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System since the beginning of the program in 2015. She received her B.S in Psychology with an emphasis in Special Education from Cameron University and a M.S. in School Psychology from Southwestern Oklahoma State. She has worked for Tyler ISD as a Vocational Adjustment Coordinator for 6 years helping train students for employment in the community of Tyler. She has a passion for guiding individuals in their journey towards self-discovery by encouraging individuals to set and reach realistic goals.
Melissa Reynolds has taught for 21 years in the state of Texas. She is certified in Generic Special Education, PK-12. She has taught elementary Resource Reading and Math, PPCD, elementary self-contained classes, PTC and Middle School. Melissa has taught in San Marcos CISD, Athens ISD, Chapel Hill ISD and Tyler ISD. She is currently the lead teacher for the LINK (Learning Independence and New Knowledge) Transition Program with Tyler ISD.
