CRCIL offers Independent Living Skills Classes every week. Consumers in these classes set goals and CRCIL provides the appropriate training.
Every Independent Living Class offers cooking, proper food handling, measurement accuracy, and nutrition.
Everyone should be prepared for a disaster. Through our classes, our consumers learn how to make a disaster kit, make a plan, how to communicate to first responders, set up a support network, and learn disaster terms and what they mean.
To assist consumers with personal and work relationships, CRCIL classes include social skills training. Building great relationships can improve a person's independence.
Classes offer a wide variety of money skills; counting coins and bills, making change, banking, budgeting, and more.
Our classes really enjoy having a good time! Several times a year, we have parties that are planned by the class members.
CRCIL classes focus on improving reading skills and comprehension, therefore increasing independence.
