CRCIL provides a diverse range of programs and services aimed at improving your independence within the community.

CRCIL Core Services

CRCIL provides support for our five core services, focusing on helping individuals with disabilities achieve, maintain, or regain their independence, as well as gain greater access to their local communities. 

Advocacy

Advocacy services are provided for individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary support and accommodations to achieve their independent living objectives.

Information and Referral

Information and referral services are offered on a wide range of disability-related topics such as housing, transportation, legislation, laws, adaptive equipment, employment opportunities, and support groups.  Additionally, the center provides a list of other local resources that may be of assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Independent Living Skills

Information and referral services are offered on a wide range of disability-related topics such as housing, transportation, legislation, laws, adaptive equipment, employment opportunities, and support groups.  Additionally, the center provides a list of other local resources that may be of assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Peer Support

Peer support is an opportunity for people with disabilities to share knowledge, experience, to help each others. Peer Counselors facilitate activities such as recreation, workshops, and support groups which encourage friendships, pursuit of individual goals, development of self-esteem, and community participation. 
 

Our support groups and health classes cover a variety of issues which include Diabetes, Parkinson's, Chronic Conditions, Weight Loss,
and more.

Transition Services

Our Home by Choice program transitions people with disabilities from institutions to a community-based residences and assists setting up the services they need to support them.

Youth transition services help young consumers, ages of 14 to 24, become active members of their community by concentrating on developing independent living skills, accessing community resources, engaging in social and recreational activities, fostering health and wellness, and providing appropriate referrals for education, training, and employment.
